As Christian writers, writing meaningful words is something we value more than the average writer. The average writer is writing for fame, for money, and for self-glory, not necessarily to help, bless, or to have an impact on others. But we, the Christian writers, are out there working to craft powerful tales and powerful words. We want what we write to be meaningful and to have an impact on the world.
It is so hard to write meaningful words.
But it’s not as hard as we think.
What if there was a simple, easy way to make our words meaningful?
There is one.
If you pray over your words and over your writing, God will use them for His glory. Even if you’re writing a graphic novel to a history book, if you ask God to use your words and if you pray in faith, truly believing He will do so, then He will.
It only takes ten words.
All you have to say is, “Lord, please use these words to meaningfully bless people’s lives.”
I dare you to try praying over the next few things you write. Ask God to help you struggle past writer’s block. Ask Him to help you to use your words to glorify Him. Ask Him to make what you’re writing into what He wants it to be.
It really helps. Just pray in faith, believing He’ll do it.
He will.
He wants to use your words right now to further better His kingdom, and He can use your words to do so.
Praying ten words can make the next one thousand words you write powerful and meaningful.
I REALLY need to start doing this! Thanks for the reminder. (:
