Six Inspirational Writing Playlists For You

As many of you know, I love music. I listen to it constantly, and enjoy pretty much every genre (except rap and country. Sorry, folks).

Music is one of the most inspirational things for me in my writing. Lyrical music often inspires my characters while instrumental often inspires scenes or places.

When I'm in the process of writing, though, I tend to listen to instrumental; so today I have six instrumental writing playlists on Spotify that I hope will be useful to you in your own writing and give you inspiration. I've seen other bloggers who make writing playlists, and it looked fun, so I decided to create a few of my own.

1# The Beginning. This playlist is made up of expectant music perfect to listen to while writing the beginning of your story.

2# The Climax. This one might've been the most fun to make. It's made up of epic, exciting songs good to listen to while writing the height of your story.

3# The End. Even though there may be a 'happily ever after' the world isn't the same as it was. This playlist is full of exciting, sad, yet happy songs good to listen to while you're putting your story world back to rights.

4# The Antagonist. Full of epic and foreboding songs, this is a good playlist to listen to while writing your villain.

5# The Best of Friends. This playlist is full of happy and meaningful songs to hear while writing deep friendships between your characters.

6# When They Fall in Love. This final playlist is full of sweet songs to listen to when your characters fall in love.

Music is a powerful, God-given gift. I know that it's been a great help to me, and I hope it will be a help you you while you write your own stories. Now, get writing!
